Welcome to Deadly Art Online.
Deadly is defined by the Australian Macquarie Dictionary as extremely
accurate, effective, also as fantastic, terrific. Also defined as: really good,
impressive.
Today, the term ‘Deadly’, has become a popular word used by the mainland
indigenous people of Australia to mean excellent, awesome, cool.
Deadly Art Online has evolved from our relationship and interaction with many
local indigenous artist, especially here in Central Australia. Having become
friends with some of the artist, we started by providing them with access to the
world wide web via the
Aboriginal
Tourism - Travel Australia with AusEmade website. This enable them to not
only showcase their talents, but for others to see some of their works. We
have also met other people who love Aboriginal art and paintings and have been
buying various paintings, firstly for the enjoyment of them and secondly as
collectors.
These like-minded individuals are not necessarily gallery owners. Having met
and talk with some of these individuals we found that some have collected many
paintings and now wanted to sell some of them, making room so that they can buy
other artworks to enjoy. This website has been developed
to facilitate an online shopfront to display the artwork that they have for
sale. In many cases, you will be dealing direct with the owner of the artwork
and all communication and transactions will be dealt by the owner of the
artwork. In other cases, we at Deadly Art Online, through our parent company
AusEmade Pty Ltd may act as the intermediary for the artist, seller or be selling
some of the artwork that we own and have enjoyed. |
